Rabbit Proof Knee

I have to give today  a sort of thumbs up. My little mate Lenny the cockatiel seemed unwell this morning. Of course being as attached to her as I am, it worried me a lot. The vet checked her out and gave her a clean bill of health. He reckons it’s OK if her droppings are watery at times. He also gave me good advice on diet and general health for her. Appartently cockatiels like alfalfa sprouts and sweet potatoes. He recommends giving her bottle brush flowers and natural toys to play with rather than bells and mirrors. He suggested putting a eucalypt branch in as a perch and changing it every day or so.  Another thing he said was to give bird seed only in the morning and afternoon, which is a cockatiels normal feeding time. It was good to have my little mate Lenny at home and well tonight. She is a great little mate.

My knee seemed better most of the day. Some pain on the top of the ITB again, but less than yesterday. After work I had to hurry back to the office to pick up some things I’d left behind. The knee seemed quite strong. There was a little pinching pain in one quad muscle and a occassional deep achy pain on the inside of the knee. The knee also let off a loud crack, like it was slotting back into a better alignment. These pains seemed to me to be healing type pains, not the irritating nerve and stabbing pains of ongoing injury. The knee still catches and cracks, but the VMO seems to firing much better.
