Wired
I really feel so wired up after a race. I couldn’t sleep last night. Perhaps it was the humidity?
Maybe it was the nerves. You’ve really got to put yourself out there not just physically but mentally. The hardest part for me is the pre and post race interaction.
I thought a lot about last night’s race. All I want to do is to do what I have to get to the start line and race. Because I really need that racing outlet in my life.
As soon as the race starts I come alive, it’s like I am a different person. I get it, I get the physical act of running.
I talked to a few people, I congratulated Tim who came third. He is running very well.
I got through without any misunderstandings I think.
